Thanks to some nice moves Peter Parker could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Egil Östlund however easily saved by the left post. Ward Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Doran in the 5th minute of play forced United States's goalkeeper José Maria Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luciano Pack came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Pack couldn't finish the play. José Maria Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ward Doran in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by United States's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santo Sparks was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Hills's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Parker could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Egil Östlund however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's Ward Doran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 魏耀远 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Ward Doran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. José Maria Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santo Sparks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match, Peter Parker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egil Östlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Korey Groves charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korey Groves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Korey Groves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, 史岚庭 made a precise shot to the right of Egil Östlund. Golden Hills's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ward Doran to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Doran in the 54th minute of play forced United States's goalkeeper José Maria Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Opilano in the 57th minute of the match. Orville Hough hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. José Maria Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in United States's zone, Art Allison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Branco came out of the goal and Art Allison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Willis Caldwell in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell. José Maria Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 70th minute. Egil Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Opilano in the 74th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Virgil Forbes put in a rough tackle. Egil Östlund had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Pablo Opilano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Pack got free with José Maria Branco in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Golden Hills's Orville Hough quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Renaldo David, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Roman Farris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Branco having to interfere. With a little luck, United States's José Maria Branco got control of the ball when Orville Hough tried to sneak it across the goal line. 史岚庭 kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Golden Hills's Luciano Pack got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes in the game Luciano Pack after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved José Maria Branco. A very good opportunity. Many of Golden Hills's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Golden Hills may have spent more time on the ball, but United States were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
