Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when František Spousta kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Schalke 04's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Scottie Leonard was slow to take the kick. During this time Astrologer FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Scottie Leonard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Schalke 04's Gilles Eichenberger did a great save. After 11 minutes of play, Astrologer FC's Alfred Mays made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilles Eichenberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Riho Hindpere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilles Eichenberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Mays in the 20th minute of the match. Astrologer FC's Alfred Mays got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, FC Schalke 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Nielsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Scottie Leonard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilles Eichenberger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilles Eichenberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richie Arnold in the 27th minute of play. Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by František Spousta in the 28th minute of play. If Alfred Mays had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Schalke 04's Eli Nielsen got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Richie Arnold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astrologer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Arnold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Eli Nielsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schalke 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astrologer FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Schalke 04's Eli Nielsen got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alfred Mays's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilles Eichenberger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Gilles Eichenberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Arnold came free, but Gilles Eichenberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, František Spousta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Landry. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Arnold made a kick off. František Spousta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Landry having to interfere. František Spousta scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Landry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, FC Schalke 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by František Spousta to maneuver through the defense. When Richie Arnold came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Astrologer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie Arnold couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Alfred Mays was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astrologer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Schalke 04 the free kick. FC Schalke 04 made a substitution. Tyron Humphrey replaced Rolf Melendez. Alfred Mays hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richie Arnold got free with Gilles Eichenberger in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Arnold in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilles Eichenberger saved FC Schalke 04 from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Arnold came free, but Gilles Eichenberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Astrologer FC booed when FC Schalke 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riho Hindpere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Astrologer FC got a freekick which was hit by Scottie Leonard. Benedykt Cwenar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Arnold came free, but Gilles Eichenberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Luther Story hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. František Spousta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Landry having to interfere.
