Formentera's Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gotthard in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Rico Röthke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Hock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rico Röthke in the 14th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Röthke in the 18th minute of play. Formentera's Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gotthard in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Los Spurs's Roland Hock got control of the ball when Paulo Enmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Hock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Enmanuel in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Fausto Ronconi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los Spurs's zone, Paulo Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Hock came out of the goal and Paulo Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Georg Matheis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Gotthard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Sugar. Jan Gotthard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Niclas Unterligauer charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Niclas Unterligauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Los Spurs got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Niclas Unterligauer. With an all-out effort, Los Spurs's Froilan Jacob threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Gotthard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Justino Hondo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes Los Spurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernández who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Fernández got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roland Hock quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, Georg Matheis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Jan Gotthard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Jan Gotthard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Froilan Jacob was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Niclas Unterligauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Froilan Jacob having to make a save. 82 minutes into the game, Los Spurs's Jan Gotthard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Jacob made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland Hock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Enmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Formentera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Enmanuel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Sugar in the 94th minute of play forced Los Spurs's goalkeeper Roland Hock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Paulo Enmanuel made a precise shot to the right of Roland Hock. Los Spurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Formentera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Spurs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
