In the 6th minute, Anfilogino Farese left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diecicento FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Dolphin FC's Frank Trombetta got control of the ball when Corrado Ritacco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Diecicento FC's Anfilogino Farese ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Trombetta. Frank Trombetta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Alvaro Improta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolphin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Improta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dolphin FC's Achille Tammaro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Frank Trombetta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Bontempi. 19 minutes into the match, Diecicento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lucchetti came free, but Ennio Lucchetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Cesare Pezzella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Trombetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Frank Trombetta was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Anthony Montini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anthony Montini really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Alexander Tosi took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Frank Trombetta to make any attempt to save it. Frank Trombetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Dolphin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Caccia. With an all-out effort, Diecicento FC's Frank Trombetta threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Tosi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Dolphin FC's Frank Trombetta got control of the ball when Adriano Bontempi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthony Montini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Trombetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Farese in the 42nd minute of play. Alexander Tosi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frank Trombetta firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Caccia made a kick off. Frank Trombetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Farese, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Cesare Pezzella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Alexander Tosi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Dolphin FC's Achille Marzoli got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Anthony Montini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Frank Trombetta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ennio Lucchetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Caccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Alvise De Luca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diecicento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolphin FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Diecicento FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise De Luca. Ciccio Larizza's late challenge caught a Dolphin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciccio Larizza helped the player get up and apologised. Dolphin FC's Frank Trombetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Pezzella in the 74th minute of play. Frank Trombetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 92 played minutes Dolphin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Caccia. After some careless play in the Dolphin FC defense, Anfilogino Farese kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Trombetta. The Dolphin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Trombetta should have stopped the shot. Diecicento FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
