When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Kim Lekberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for José Chilavert to make any attempt to save it. Richardo Gavnbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Askstedt having to interfere. José Chilavert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Colorshop's goalkeeper José Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Lekberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Owen Tomaszewski during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Owen Tomaszewski hit a great ball. The throw-in from Montrel Huguet in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Savage Hippo's Norbert Kostka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richardo Gavnbo in the 38th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Lekberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Colorshop got a freekick which was hit by Orlo Villabel. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Espada in the 58th minute. Vigil Algarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bengt-Arne Askstedt could save by the left post. In the 64th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Chilavert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Espada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Colorshop's Bengt-Arne Askstedt threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Montrel Huguet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. José Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Colorshop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vigil Algarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 86th minute of play forced Colorshop's goalkeeper José Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colorshop's José Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Lekberg in the 90th minute of play. José Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Kim Lekberg made a precise shot to the right of José Chilavert. Colorshop's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. José Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lekberg in the 95th minute of the match. Savage Hippo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
