Paul Floridong made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Danilo Salgado immediately put the ball in play. After 16 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Ikonom Kopchev. Murilo da Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Nistelrooy went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Otto Fesik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Fesik got free with Giuseppe Silveira in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Fesik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Silveira made a huge save. Giuseppe Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Ciechocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Van Nistelrooy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Murilo da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Capixaba's Ikonom Kopchev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paul Floridong in the 38 minute of the game. Atlético Capixaba's Ikonom Kopchev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Craques fc. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Murilo da Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giuseppe Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Ciechocki in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Lucas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Deportivo Craques fc's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Fesik came free, but Giuseppe Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Fesik in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo Craques fc's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65th play minutes Radowit Ciechocki shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Giuseppe Silveira and just under the crossbar into goal. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Deportivo Craques fc were furious when Sidnei Vergílio was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Craques fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Capixaba:s goal. The referee gave Atlético Capixaba a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Otto Fesik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Craques fc's Giuseppe Silveira. 4-1. Murilo da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Lucas in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Danilo Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Craques fc and the Atlético Capixaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo de Almeida took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Silveira. Giuseppe Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1.

Atlético Capixaba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Craques fc for a fine match.
