They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's Fabian Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Hermanö Oilers's corner Harel Minsky fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Joey quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th minute, Al Capone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthony Bonelli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 57th playminute. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger got control of the ball when Arnoldo Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Sundin replaced Dave Di Filippo. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Hermanö Oilers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Bonelli took the corner. Palermo's Anthony Bonelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oskar Haeger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Loureiro came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palermo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hermanö Oilers.
