Adelino Costa started the match with the kick off. Adelino Costa struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. João Paulo Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. In the 11th match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Trigo in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Reis United's zone, Maurício Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal and Maurício Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, S.C. Reis United's Henrique Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrique Trigo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. João Paulo Urbano made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Adelino Costa sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Mello came free, but Luiz Eduardo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Trigo in the 43rd minute of play. Hermínio Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rafa Mello made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Adelino Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristóvão Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merusca F&P - CIMZ's protests and gave Cristóvão Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Tepedino. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Vinícius Pontes replaced Cícero Diniz. Rafa Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Reynaldo Siqueira got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Reynaldo Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Trigo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Luiz Eduardo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Trigo in the 77th minute of play. S.C. Reis United's Rafa Mello was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Eduardo Faria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute Vinícius Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Rafa Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mathias Bueno hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Adelino Costa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano. João Paulo Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C. Reis United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
