With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dagoberto de Queirós was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Serafim Terra. 79 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's Sandrinho Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Telmo da Fonseca in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
