In the 20th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Terra to maneuver through the defense. Goblins F.C.'s Sílvio Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Diniz in the 28th minute of play. Sílvio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Bueno in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Bueno in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Moraes saved Goblins F.C. from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Maurício Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sílvio Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Costa went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Cícero Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Moraes. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Igor de Azevedo was substituted for Cícero Diniz. After 49 minutes Goblins F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Igor de Azevedo put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Moraes. 62 minutes into the match, Adelino Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Moraes, 0-7. A hard shot 65 in the game by Adelino Costa from a close distance when the talented Sílvio Moraes managed to make a qualified save. Goblins F.C.'s players were relieved. Luiz Eduardo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Drogba in the 72nd minute of play. Adelino Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sílvio Moraes made a huge save. Sílvio Moraes made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Adelino Costa sent off a good shot on target. Sílvio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Bueno in the 86th minute of play. If Adelino Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Willian de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian de Salles couldn't finish the play. Merusca F&P - CIMZ played a much better game than Goblins F.C. and deserved their victory. The Goblins F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
