The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Moraes in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Toledo saved Anderbye FC from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Correia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carrapichel - FDFDF's Doni Botelho. Doni Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gino Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamílton Moraes in the 13th minute. Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Paraibano in the 14th minute of play. Hamílton Moraes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ulisses Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hamílton Moraess short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ulisses Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 46 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Loureiro. Tadeu Vinhas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hamílton Moraes made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. José Paulo Paraibano hit a great ball. Juvenal Loureiro's late challenge caught a Anderbye FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Juvenal Loureiro got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 67th minute, Tadeu Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doni Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Doni Botelho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardinho Correia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. Ulisses Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Zeca Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeca Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Simões. Tomé de Lima's late challenge caught a Carrapichel - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. Zézinho Amaral missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 98 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ulisses Toledo right hand side. The Anderbye FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anderbye FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
