Oscar Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 19 minutes, Gláuber Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JFSP and the Los Hermanos CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Hermanos CIMZ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zé Augusto Antunes hit a great ball. Oscar Saraiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Paulo Peixoto in the 26th minute. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hermanos CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Paulo Peixoto was slow to take the kick. During this time JFSP's players had a chance to rest. Armandinho Sena tried in the game's 29th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Oscar Saraiva. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. After 35 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Antunes. When Ismael Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JFSP's protests and gave Ismael Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Velloso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Oscar Saraiva came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst. But to his dismay, Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Hermínio Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, JFSP's Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Giorgi Mamardashvili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hermanos CIMZ. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Armandinho Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Hermínio Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, one of Los Hermanos CIMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Hermanos CIMZ. Oscar Saraiva came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst. But to his dismay, Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Vinhas in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JFSP's Douglas Vieira. After some careless play in the Los Hermanos CIMZ defense, Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saraiva. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saraiva should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst sped through Los Hermanos CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Saraiva. Oscar Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Meirelles in the 96th minute of play.
