The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oswaldo Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Lima having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Paulista in the 6th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Elói Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Evandro Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Egídio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Cléber Tróia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Alves's late challenge caught a ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Neto came out of the goal and Albertinho Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Afonso Abreu got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Cauan Gonçalves had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Dionísio during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ogro F.C.'s Frédson Ramos was substituted for Cauan Gonçalves. Evandro Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
