With a little luck, DENVER™'s Jorge Montenegro got control of the ball when Mazinho Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Bucéfalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Carvalho came free, but Abelardo Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbson Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nico Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Flavinho Braga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jorge Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Nico Godoi rounded DENVER™'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 26th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Godoi in the 27th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Jorge Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ulisses Montenegro hit a great ball. Nico Godoi's late challenge caught a DENVER™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Bucéfalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Carvalho's late challenge caught a Bucéfalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Mathias Carvalho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Flavinho Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Mazinho Damião took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jorge Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Guilherme Toscano made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Flavinho Braga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mathias Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abelardo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Braga hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mazinho Damião took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Montenegro. Jorge Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Damião came free, but Jorge Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Toscano came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abelardo Saraiva could save by the left post. Jorge Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, Bucéfalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Bucéfalo FC's Chicão Sena was substituted for Nico Godoi. After 84 played minutes Bucéfalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Braga. Waldir Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jorge Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Róbson Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENVER™'s protests and gave Róbson Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Róbson Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 88th minute. Luiz Gustavo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jorge Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucéfalo FC. DENVER™'s Jorge Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Sena in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Mazinho Damião made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Montenegro. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bucéfalo FC fully deserved thier win.
