With a little luck, ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong got control of the ball when Lukas Blaauwgeers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukas Blaauwgeers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s Egbert Matthijs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Armstrong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Thorsten Dietz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ManagerZone Crew's protests and gave Thorsten Dietz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Thorsten Dietz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egbert Matthijs scored 3-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Linkhorst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egbert Matthijs hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Dukaton f.c.'s Lukas Blaauwgeers. But to his dismay, Lukas Blaauwgeers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochem Rijkaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With his leg Foeke Wisgerhof managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jochem Rijkaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorsten Dietz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Fiori came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egbert Matthijs in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jochem Rijkaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dukaton f.c.'s Foeke Wisgerhof proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dukaton f.c. from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dukaton f.c. fans cheered their team off the field, for while ManagerZone Crew had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
