The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arximiro Unzueta in the 4th minute of play. The El Pasteral F.C fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when El Pasteral F.C's Arximiro Unzueta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arximiro Unzueta struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Cayetano Behe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pasteral F.C. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arximiro Unzueta in the 11th minute of play. Cayetano Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arximiro Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Behe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arximiro Unzueta's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Adolfo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, El Pasteral F.C's Arximiro Unzueta got a free kick in the 15th minute. El Pasteral F.C's Xurdin Ibanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save El Pasteral F.C from getting a goal against them. Arximiro Unzueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cayetano Behe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Vanhove, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Severiano Taurino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xurdin Ibanez, 1-1. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Vanhove in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arximiro Unzueta in the 33rd minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xarles Hevia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes El Pasteral F.C got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Cabrera. 47 minutes into the game, Severiano Taurino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xurdin Ibanez. Severiano Taurino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Serradell to make the kick off. Xurdin Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro López, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lisandro López managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro López was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurdin Ibanez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, El Pasteral F.C's Fabian Serradell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Behe. Cayetano Behe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 62nd minute, Deportivo Balvanera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Váldson Palmeira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime was substituted for Florencio Oxarra. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Placido Cordarell replaced Lorenzo Berto. The audience was convinced that Fabian Serradell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Behe was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Cristobal Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Serradell in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Fabian Serradell notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe. Cayetano Behe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 played minutes, El Pasteral F.C's Emesto Verdeja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Behe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Pasteral F.C reached it. El Pasteral F.C played a much better game than Deportivo Balvanera and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Balvanera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
