Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Tomas Ciudad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dida Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincenzo Landa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Salomon Quaade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marquês de Herval's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Vennerlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciudad Tao FC's players had a chance to rest. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Ciudad in the 23rd minute of play. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tomas Ciudad sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Gao Xiang Guang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincenzo Landa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Ciudad notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Ciudad in the 39th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Rasmus Jönsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciudad Tao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquês de Herval the free kick. After 41 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Jönsson. In the 46th minute, Jon Grøneng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Martins made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes Ciudad Tao FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gao Xiang Guang who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gao Xiang Guang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vincenzo Landa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birol Dalayer to maneuver through the defense. Ciudad Tao FC's Marc Zoolingen was substituted for Adrian Gråberg. Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano was substituted for Tomas Ciudad. In the 67th minute, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Miron Zabel came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miron Zabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alfredo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquês de Herval's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Landa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vincenzo Landa, 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, German Cano notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa. Vincenzo Landa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dida Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miron Zabel's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Sandström in the 95th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
