After some careless play in the Real Madryt defense, Edgar Haegg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matej Čaplovič. The Real Madryt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matej Čaplovič should have stopped the shot. Seppe Dobbeleir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Kushka's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Asarum's Gösta Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matej Čaplovič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Gelu Ungheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Kushka in the 37th minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Seppe Dobbeleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seppe Dobbeleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Ungheanu in the 40th minute of the match. Seppe Dobbeleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Ungheanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 庄寒谦 to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Haegg took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matej Čaplovič. Matej Čaplovič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 54th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. Seppe Dobbeleir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Ungheanu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Anton Kushka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seppe Dobbeleir made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Anton Kushka sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Asarum booed when Real Madryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Ungheanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anton Kushka came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Real Madryt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Kushka couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute 庄寒谦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Čaplovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Kushka succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. When Gelu Ungheanu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Real Madryt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Ungheanu couldn't finish the play. Real Madryt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Haegg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asarum fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Madryt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
