Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Eusko started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Nguyễn Nga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sài Gòn's Huỳnh Phuc got a free kick in the 5th minute. Eirik Bergerud kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s Trent Alexander-Arnold got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lưu Thuyet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s Alvaro Eusko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lưu Thuyet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sài Gòn defense, Alvaro Eusko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lưu Thuyet. The Sài Gòn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lưu Thuyet should have stopped the shot. Lưu Thuyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Eusko scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lưu Thuyet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sài Gòn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eirik Bergerud was slow to take the kick. During this time STARK F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Lưu Thuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Eusko in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Urtzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Lưu Thuyet came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by STARK F.C.'s Jesus Tadzio. But to his dismay, Jesus Tadzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When STARK F.C.'s Alvaro Eusko in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sài Gòn's goalie prevented a goal. Alvaro Eusko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lưu Thuyet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Alvaro Eusko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lưu Thuyet made a huge save. Lưu Thuyet was a little too slow when Alvaro Eusko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. STARK F.C. made a substitution. Cesar Ixaka replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold. STARK F.C.'s Ivan Erdiano was substituted for Eirik Bergerud. STARK F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Erdiano in the 79th minute. The corner led STARK F.C.'s Ivan Erdiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Lưu Thuyet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s Edinson Rodríguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lưu Thuyet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match STARK F.C. got a corner. Sài Gòn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Erdiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Edinson Rodríguez sped through Sài Gòn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lưu Thuyet. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sài Gòn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Erdiano was slow to take the kick. During this time STARK F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 89 minutes into the match, Edinson Rodríguez notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Sài Gòn's Lưu Thuyet. Lưu Thuyet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edinson Rodríguez took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lưu Thuyet. Lưu Thuyet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. STARK F.C. played a much better game than Sài Gòn and deserved their victory. The Sài Gòn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
