Franco Scutti hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Dare to dream again's Vernon Wilkinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bergeikers defense, Vernon Wilkinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernani Messias. The Bergeikers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Messias should have stopped the shot. Hernani Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernon Wilkinson in the 30th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the Dare to dream again defense, Piara Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bobby Vanooteghem. The Dare to dream again fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bobby Vanooteghem should have stopped the shot. After 55 played minutes Bergeikers got a freekick which was hit by Otto Klasen. The supporters of Dare to dream again booed when Bergeikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Agachi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yu Feng Sang came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Dare to dream again fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yu Feng Sang couldn't finish the play. Jermaine Collingwood received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernani Messias came out and tried to block the shot, but Jermaine Collingwood slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 61st minute. In the 76th minute of the match, Vernon Wilkinson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernani Messias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Yu Feng Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Yu Feng Sang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dare to dream again booed when Bergeikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Klasen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Vernon Wilkinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergeikers's Hernani Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th play minute Mikolaj Tomaszewski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hernani Messias. 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Dare to dream again left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bergeikers.
