In the 3rd minute, Otto Klasen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebati Arıtan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Messias having to interfere. In the 14th minute Sadikköy Erdoğan FK were awarded a corner. Mehmet Bedri Sungun went to the cornerflag to take it. Hernani Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Behzat Durhal in the 20th minute of the match. Hernani Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Behzat Durhal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sebastiaan Molhoek fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergeikers's protests and gave Sebastiaan Molhoek a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Behzat Durhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebati Arıtan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Hernani Messias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 38 minutes, Eelco Ricksen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergeikers and the Sadikköy Erdoğan FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sadikköy Erdoğan FK booed when Bergeikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eelco Ricksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernani Messias made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mehmet Bedri Sungun sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piara Batistuta made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bergeikers's zone, Ali Behzat Durhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Messias came out of the goal and Ali Behzat Durhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Sancar Reyyan got control of the ball when Joost Telkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes Sadikköy Erdoğan FK got a freekick which was hit by Orbay Sadir. Sebastiaan Molhoek was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Sebastiaan Molhoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piara Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK made a substitution. Abdulhamit Sadreddin replaced Kılıç Samil. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK made a substitution. Aras Görkem Kazanhan replaced Luke Thorne. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Abdulbaki Karabey was substituted for Bilal Aynacıoğlu. After 69 played minutes Bergeikers got a freekick which was hit by Piara Batistuta. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Sancar Reyyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 肖建云 in the 72nd minute of play. Ali Behzat Durhal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Abdulbaki Karabey kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hernani Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Behzat Durhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Piara Batistuta's late challenge caught a Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piara Batistuta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bergeikers's Piara Batistuta got a free kick in the 90th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK fully deserved thier win.
