Vernon Wilkinson was slow to take the kick. During this time Dare to dream again's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Dare to dream again's Vernon Wilkinson to fire away a dangerous shot which Sancar Reyyan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Mikolaj Tomaszewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sancar Reyyan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 39 played minutes Dare to dream again got a freekick which was hit by Carel Stuycken. 40 minutes into the match, Dare to dream again's goal looked a bit too open when Sebati Arıtan came free, but Bobby Vanooteghem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
