Nicolae Petrulean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhang Hong Xun having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Vaccean Warriors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tabalongo AFC:s goal. Zhang Hong Xun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Petrulean in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Tabalongo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Cueto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Petrulean in the 51st minute of the match. If Nicolae Petrulean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Petrulean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Chapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Bautista in the 57th minute of the match. Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Bautista in the 61st minute of play. Amir Rrahmani hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tabalongo AFC made a substitution. Marciano Asmussen replaced Binjamin Ketelers. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaccean Warriors were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alastair Pell took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, Ariel Bautista notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel. Dante Chapel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
