In the 31st minute Saturnino Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Pes in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Ponc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saturnino Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Evelio Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Ponc was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Rogelio Claris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Mitre City the free kick. After 43 played minutes Club Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Claris. A collision led to Club Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Mauricio Macías replaced Arsenio Maria. Villa Mitre City's Imam Sarwono was substituted for Long Yuan Di. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. James Madison was the one to do the kick off. Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Madison in the 71st minute of play. Mauricio Macías received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Stephen came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauricio Macías slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Evelio Pes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ariel Ponc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evelio Pes scored 5-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Ponc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Pes in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Ponc saved Villa Mitre City from getting behind. Club Sportivo Italiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luisito Bikendi in the 91st minute. Reynaldo Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Madison, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Pes came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
