After 39 played minutes ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anestis Tsoukalas. In the 42nd minute, Abubakar Kamarád ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Gimenez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Kutlualp Parskan got a free kick in the 45th minute. Aziz Akarsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marios Sabanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Chu Zhen Xun made the kick off in the second half. Marios Sabanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Akarsu in the 54th minute of the match. Marios Sabanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Akarsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Gimenez made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Abubakar Kamarád sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goalkeeper Marios Sabanis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Gimenez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abubakar Kamarád in the 70th minute. Abubakar Kamarád could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ismael Gimenez made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Akarsu came free, but Marios Sabanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Chu Zhen Xun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. reached it.
