An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Paranaense in the 22nd minute of play forced C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's goalkeeper Nicanor Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes C. A. Gral. Lamadrid got a freekick which was hit by Huang Hong Gang. In the 80thth minute of the game Pablo Vegetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Natã Quintal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicanor Loiola. The goal made the score 2-5. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pang Si Yan in the 91st minute. After taking down the ball on C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's corner Pang Si Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robinho de Salles quite easily take care of the ball. The Nova Venécia-ES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nova Venécia-ES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
