After 19 minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abram Cadabra who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie and right to Marco Löhr. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 30th minute of play forced Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Reis hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Deilmison van Basten made the kick off in the second half. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Marco Löhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Löhr in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Wolves FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gonçalves. Denílson Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Guillen Aguillar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Löhr in the 79th minute of play. Wolves FC - DMZ's attack was well implemented in the 79th minute, but when Marco Löhr was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Marco Löhr struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rodriguinho Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolves FC - DMZ. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gu Zhan Cheng got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Waldir Reis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

Through an outstanding action, after 101 minutes, Rodriguinho Sousa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 107thth minute of the game Ronaldo Joinvilense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 2-2. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Everyone could clearly see that both ATHLETICO PRaiano's and Wolves FC - DMZ's players was becoming tired in their legs when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. The supporters of Wolves FC - DMZ booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 117 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unax Mudarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 119 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Wolves FC - DMZ's Guillen Aguillar. Guillen Aguillar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ATHLETICO PRaiano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
