Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pipis Karapatakis in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 38th minute of the match. When Wambasther Gattuso fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ROSÁRIO SPORT's protests and gave Wambasther Gattuso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wambasther Gattuso to maneuver through the defense. Pipis Karapatakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pipis Karapatakis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pipis Karapatakis got free with Luiz Corrêa in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Corrêa. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. When Tony Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ROSÁRIO SPORT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Dionísio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nestor Leão hit a great ball. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Dionísio in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Wambasther Gattuso got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Pipis Karapatakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Darío Pereyra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Corrêa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th play minute Filiph Biörling came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Corrêa. 0-2. When the match was over Grêmio FBPA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ROSÁRIO SPORT throughout the match.
