The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Ismael Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Well-Well Junior in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Crisólia FBPA's Ke Zhi. Afonso da Cunha scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Toscano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Virgiawan Laturua got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Toscano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 19th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ismael Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Fiori Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Fidelio Di Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Crisólia FBPA made a substitution. Rony Félix replaced Amed Dersim. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso da Cunha to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Rodriguinho Diniz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ismael Toscano made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Afonso da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Zhou Wei Fan replaced Virgiawan Laturua. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Well-Well Junior managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucas Beltran in the 66 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ismael Toscano threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhou Wei Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ismael Toscano made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Afonso da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Munhoz. Crisólia FBPA's Vivaldo de Salles was substituted for Fiori Sampaio. Cléberson Munhoz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crisólia FBPA were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidelio Di Maria took the corner. The corner led Crisólia FBPA's Fidelio Di Maria to fire away a dangerous shot which Ludomil Ziomkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Humberto Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Crisólia FBPA made a substitution. Iván Győrfi replaced Fidelio Di Maria. After 94 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Vidal. Ismael Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 97th minute of the match.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
