An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 20th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 24th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rosa came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno-Henrique Orange scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fırat Aytekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Pirani was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ reached it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bec Orange made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eusébio Orange however managed to control. After some careless play in the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ defense, Tiburcio Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Pirani. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Pirani should have stopped the shot. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tostão Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a S.C. Corinthians Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Tostão Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Eusébio Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fırat Aytekin having to interfere. S.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Rosa in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Pirani saved Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani got control of the ball when Dé Töpper tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute S.C. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner. Nildo Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Eusébio Orange got a free kick in the 81st minute. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the match was over S.C. Corinthians Paulista could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ throughout the match.
