Seating: 106, VIP seats: 9) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovani Medeiros kicked off to start the match. Benjamin da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Barbieri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin da Mata. Breno Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Geovani Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Vergílio. Barbieri Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Geovani Medeiros in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th minute Breno Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Barbieri Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Owsiak came free, but Breno Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 57th minute of play forced Barbieri Sports's goalkeeper Breno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Breno Vergílio made a huge save. Breno Vergílio spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barbieri Sports's goal. Dennis Bergkamp scored 2-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Walme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Barbieri Sports's José Augusto Hoffmann got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Barbieri Sports's Hao Li was substituted for Carlos Cascarella. Daniel Owsiak came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Breno Vergílio could save by the left post. Lei Feng Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Breno Vergílio made a huge save. Lei Feng Yan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Breno Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Sokolski in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Cenap Gerdaneri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
