The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Haitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Maxim Tsigalko got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes in the game Chrisostomos Kazantzas got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 89th match minute, Migalha S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rauch to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Dias in the 91st minute of play forced Migalha S.C.'s goalkeeper Fabiano Frois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Migalha S.C.'s zone, Máximo Laureano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Frois came out of the goal and Máximo Laureano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Dias. Fabiano Frois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Laureano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fabiano Frois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Migalha S.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
