Papillion Cheek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Toronto FC's Matthieu Daigle got a free kick in the 44th minute. Erwin Levet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Levet succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abraham Mejia to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Astralis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Tovar came free, but Tzolo Pisarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Toronto FC got a corner. Astralis FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Mejia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Toronto FC's corner Abraham Mejia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tzolo Pisarski quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Dániel Kinizsi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Toronto FC's Papillion Cheek. Papillion Cheek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erwin Levet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Papillion Cheek made a huge save. A collision led to Astralis FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gregorio Elija hit a great ball. Kyle Souplet kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Gregorio Elija lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Papillion Cheek. 0-7 became the score in the 80th minute when Gregorio Elija elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th minute Tim Tovar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzolo Pisarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Astralis FC's Dániel Kinizsi got a free kick in the 94th minute. Tzolo Pisarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Mejia in the 96th minute of the match. The Toronto FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Astralis FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Astralis FC.
