Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Wilhelm Galle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nils Hopp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, FC Kurdistan's Wilhelm Galle threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Hopp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 9 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos da Silva. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Boian, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Högman in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Tingberg in the 17th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jörgen Levander from a close distance when the talented Wilhelm Galle managed to make a qualified save. Kind of Blue's players were relieved. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Boian in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Douglas Västberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Horea Boian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alaaddin Solskjær came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Joacim Hansson. But to his dismay, Joacim Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Keefer Carragher hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Joacim Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joacim Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horea Boian to strike the kick off in the second half. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Tingberg in the 54th minute of play. Alaaddin Solskjær made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Högman in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Boian came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sven-Oskar Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alaaddin Solskjær narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Ubaldo Ritchie replaced Roberto-Carlos da Silva. Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller was substituted for Horea Boian. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Emanuel Åström replaced Nils Hopp. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Joacim Hansson hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 73rd minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaaddin Solskjær saved FC Kurdistan from getting behind. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Oskar Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Hansson. The throw-in from Sven-Oskar Carlsson in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Kurdistan's Emanuel Åström. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Kasiewski in the 88th minute of play. The Kind of Blue supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kind of Blue would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
