Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Natalucci kicked off to start the match. Gunther Zapf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save. In the 13th minute Armando Natalucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Natalucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haisenberg Dolar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the game Adriano Rocchi made a throw-in which Haisenberg Dolar played forward. Emanuele Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Natalucci in the 31st minute of play. Italy were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Brembols's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mattia Hummels took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cristiano Cordone got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 33 minutes into the match. Emanuele Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Costa in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Brembols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Rocchi to maneuver through the defense. The Brembols players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haisenberg Dolar made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Natalucci got free with Emanuele Santo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Antognoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haisenberg Dolar in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Brembols got a freekick which was hit by Haisenberg Dolar. Italy made a substitution. Carmine Gargano replaced Rui Costa. Italy's Didi Skarsø was substituted for Anfilogino Pittelli. After a rather tough play, Brembols's Haisenberg Dolar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Haisenberg Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Brembols's Emanuele Santo got control of the ball when Didi Skarsø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Abersell, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez in the 75th minute of play forced Brembols's goalkeeper Emanuele Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Skarsø got free with Emanuele Santo in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brembols's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mattia Hummels was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mattia Hummels got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emanuele Santo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd minute, Ercole Schiavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy's Comunardo Pedroni quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gunther Zapf, made in the 91st minute of the game. Brembols's Emanuele Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Brembols from getting a goal against them. After 92nd play minutes Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Emanuele Santo and just under the crossbar into goal. Mattia Hummels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
