An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Etor in the 2nd minute of play forced Tortugas's goalkeeper Jerónimo Bettencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Faron during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Aires in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Tortugas got a corner. Golden Dragon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Big Egø ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ihedioha Batalawa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience cheered loudly when Desiderio Etor's long shot in the 13th minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Jerónimo Bettencourt. When Golden Dragon FC's Desiderio Etor in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas's goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Rolado's late challenge caught a Golden Dragon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Desiderio Etor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Luisito Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Bettencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Golden Dragon FC's Gustavo Aznar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerónimo Bettencourt was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tortugas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Olufemi Ononogbo hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Leandro Aires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desiderio Etor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jerónimo Bettencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Leandro Aires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bambang Sagala was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Aires came free, but Bambang Sagala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Leandro Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tortugas's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Aires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bambang Sagala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Etor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Golden Dragon FC booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorre Tkint didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leandro Aires 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. 61 minutes into the match, Tortugas's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznar came free, but Jerónimo Bettencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Aires in the 67th minute of play forced Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tortugas's Jerónimo Bettencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Etor in the 72nd minute of play. Olufemi Ononogbo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Jorre Tkint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerónimo Bettencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Rayman in the 76th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Tortugas got a freekick which was hit by Olufemi Ononogbo. With a little luck, Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala got control of the ball when Leandro Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Aznar in the 89th minute of play forced Tortugas's goalkeeper Jerónimo Bettencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Aires got free with Bambang Sagala in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The Golden Dragon FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tortugas's performance. The match ended with a win for Tortugas.
