The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Orlandus came free, but Ivar Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michelangelo Menduni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Wicherek in the 11th minute of play. Ciro Mangione blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Bjurström having to make a save. In the 20th minute Bartosz Wicherek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michelangelo Menduni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 24th minute of play forced Prato Valera's goalkeeper Michelangelo Menduni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Wicherek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michelangelo Menduni having to interfere. Otsoa Arieta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Aldo Novella, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute of the match, Alvise Sisti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivar Bjurström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 38 minutes Glorioso Deportivo Cali's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Novella who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalie and right to Emiliano Zulli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emiliano Zulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Sisti to make the kick off. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Nicholas Urria has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Zulli in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Bjurström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes, Emiliano Zulli made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Sisti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Octavio Chico managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 74 minutes into the match, Bartosz Wicherek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michelangelo Menduni. Prato Valera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartosz Wicherek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Rigoberto Bastiaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prato Valera's Michelangelo Menduni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michelangelo Menduni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Prato Valera's Michelangelo Menduni. Michelangelo Menduni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Prato Valera's goalkeeper Michelangelo Menduni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Wicherek.
