Zenon Jaszcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Poland's Nike Cavia in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ICEWIND DALE's goalie prevented a goal. If Nike Cavia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuno Lüdimõis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nike Cavia in the 12th minute. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ulryk Miodek in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC ICEWIND DALE's Wiktor Ferfecki. After 22 played minutes FC ICEWIND DALE got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Ferfecki. Zenon Jaszcz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Lüdimõis having to interfere. FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poland's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 29th minute of play. Fernando Marinho scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin van der Sar having to make a save. Poland's Damazy Polek was substituted for Nike Cavia. 56 minutes into the match, Poland's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Marinho. FC ICEWIND DALE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erik Stor in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Erik Stor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edwin van der Sar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute, Erik Stor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Ding Beckham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Poland's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 72nd minute of play. Kuno Lüdimõis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poland were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after FC ICEWIND DALE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Plaski took the corner. Jan Plaski made a great header on Poland's corner, it was just that FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis managed to reach the ball for a save. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Polek in the 76th minute of play. After 80 minutes Poland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Stor who took care of the corner kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC ICEWIND DALE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
