A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luciano Pirro hit a great ball. János Moravecz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Luciano Pirro. But to his dismay, Luciano Pirro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. János Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pirro in the 9th minute of the match. János Moravecz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Racing Club's Samuel Nevada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julian Bentkowski in the 12 minute of the game. János Moravecz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Bing Liang in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Levente Ballai who took care of the corner kick. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after SÉ SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Nevada took the corner. The corner led Racing Club's Samuel Nevada to fire away a dangerous shot which János Moravecz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. János Moravecz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Kádár in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Cordearo saved Racing Club from getting behind. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Miroslaw Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Moravecz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Benigno Piorno got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but János Moravecz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Pirro was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armas Vapamaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Kádár scored 1-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Cordearo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 63rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but János Moravecz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Lano in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck János Moravecz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Homer Field managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Field was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Moravecz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Txomin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but János Moravecz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. János Moravecz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
