In the 13th match minute, FC Higher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Eckegren to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Augusto Alves in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Pilgren saved FC Higher from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Lynch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Augusto Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Augusto Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Pilgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Augusto Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Pilgren made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pedro Augusto Alves sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Augusto Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Pilgren having to make a save. Pedro Augusto Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Roger Pilgren made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Pedro Augusto Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Pilgren was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Internazionale-RS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Higher.
