The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Andrzejewski got free with Eugen Jupân in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugen Jupân took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Călin Feroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Ryszard Borcz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Grzegorz Karpiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aurelian Dragomir hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Franciszek Kubiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grzegorz Karpiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Dorin Agârbiceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grzegorz Karpiak skillfully saved the ball.
