The attack was good, but when Nereo Buinton in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 9th minute of the match, Nereo Buinton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Toacsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nereo Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monasterio AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Buinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Toacsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monasterio AFC's Dario Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Jucan in the 14th minute of play. The Monasterio AFC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Monasterio AFC's Nereo Buinton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcial Casado hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Gaston Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Abadia struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Filip Toacsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monasterio AFC. Francisc Câmpeanu scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Lop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Olayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valer Jucan was the one to do the kick off. Nereo Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Filip Toacsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Gaston Abadia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Toacsen. Gladiatorii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Abadia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dario Lop was a little too slow when Francisc Câmpeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-2. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Nereo Buinton put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Toacsen. In the 70th minute Antonio Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Toacsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Toacsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Buinton's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Monasterio AFC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Gladiatorii's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaston Dantae took the corner. In the 77th minute, Manuel Buciuceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gaston Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filip Toacsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Buinton's shot from short distance in the 84th minute.
