Dario Lop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Vegby's goalkeeper Matthias Mattsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Buinton. In the 28th minute Nereo Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Nereo Buinton notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vegby's Matthias Mattsson. But to his dismay, Nereo Buinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. If Jarl Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Vegby's Dario Lop threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarl Ambjörnsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vegby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monasterio AFC the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Vegby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. Monasterio AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
