Gladiatorii's Marian Lupșe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Allan Negri but with some difficulty. The supporters of Gladiatorii booed when ATIVE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ATIVE FC's Allan Negri got control of the ball when Augustin Adomniței tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Raí Castro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Toacsen. 17 minutes into the match, Gladiatorii's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Castro came free, but Filip Toacsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATIVE FC's Raí Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Raí Castro put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Toacsen. The ATIVE FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when ATIVE FC's Christiano de Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 35 minutes, Geovani Vargas made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Gladiatorii's Filip Toacsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th match minute, ATIVE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes ATIVE FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Berger. Christiano de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Filip Toacsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raí Castro to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Gladiatorii defense, Raí Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Toacsen. The Gladiatorii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Toacsen should have stopped the shot. Filip Toacsen was a little too slow when Raí Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 60th minute Augustin Adomniței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gladiatorii's Filip Toacsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Castro in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Gladiatorii's Filip Toacsen got control of the ball when Geovani Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Toacsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Castro in the 72nd minute of the match. Gladiatorii's Filip Toacsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano de Amorim in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Raí Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATIVE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Toacsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Filip Toacsen managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when ATIVE FC's Geovani Vargas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute, Gladiatorii's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raí Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Raí Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATIVE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Toacsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Filip Toacsen managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when ATIVE FC's Raí Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raí Castro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. ATIVE FC played a much better game than Gladiatorii and deserved their victory. The Gladiatorii players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
