After having played for 3 minutes, Jarl Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vegby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarl Ambjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, WHFC's Mădălin Vergulescu got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mădălin Vergulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mădălin Vergulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the game, one of WHFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eliodor Covaci went to the wrong direction when Sivert Berglund was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Vegby getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sivert Berglund hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vegby's zone, Olimpiu Bîndean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Mattsson came out of the goal and Olimpiu Bîndean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vegby's Bo Källberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mădălin Vergulescu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Klas Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vegby's Sivert Berglund in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eliodor Covaci guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eliodor Covaci didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vegby's Jarl Ambjörnsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 31 minutes, Sivert Berglund made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. WHFC's Eliodor Covaci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthias Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Corbu in the 47th minute of the match. Eliodor Covaci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Björk in the 54th minute. WHFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vegby the free kick. Sivert Berglund walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Tom Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Vegby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Adelsköld to maneuver through the defense. The WHFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vegby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
