Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Terrebonne's Amédée Guinn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tom Björk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jere Walton having to make a save. Jere Walton came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Vegby's Jarl Ambjörnsson. But to his dismay, Jarl Ambjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jere Walton came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Vegby's Jarl Ambjörnsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarl Ambjörnsson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jere Walton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes, Vegby's Sven-Erik Wallengren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jere Walton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vegby reached it. After 25 played minutes Terrebonne got a freekick which was hit by Amédée Guinn. Vegby's Matthias Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vegby from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Jarl Ambjörnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jere Walton. Terrebonne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarl Ambjörnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 32 minutes of play, Vegby's Jarl Ambjörnsson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jere Walton was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarl Ambjörnsson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jere Walton saved Terrebonne from getting behind. Matthias Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Devine in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Vegby's goal looked a bit too open when Amédée Guinn came free, but Matthias Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Vegby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Björk to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Terrebonne got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Koehler. After 45 minutes, Jarl Ambjörnsson made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Terrebonne's Jere Walton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Vegby were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Matthias Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amédée Guinn in the 53rd minute of play. Terrebonne's Jere Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Ambjörnsson in the 54th minute of play. Matthias Mattsson came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Terrebonne's Cruz Koehler. But to his dismay, Cruz Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After a rather tough play, Terrebonne's Cruz Koehler got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sven-Erik Wallengren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. Matthias Mattsson went to the wrong direction when Aristide Moody was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Klas Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vegby's supporters rose to their feet, but Klas Fristedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Walton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Amédée Guinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Vegby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Tidén to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vegby's zone, Amédée Guinn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Mattsson came out of the goal and Amédée Guinn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarl Ambjörnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jere Walton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Tom Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jere Walton having to interfere. The Vegby players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
