ATIVE FC were furious when Valdomiro Berger was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to ATIVE FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. When ATIVE FC's Geovani Vargas in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 48th minute of the match Victorio Ponc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Negri skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovani Vargas was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Goizeder came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by ATIVE FC's Christiano de Amorim. But to his dismay, Christiano de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Joaquin Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Vargas in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Candido Marino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samborombón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATIVE FC the free kick. A collision led to Samborombón AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Candido Marino hit a great ball. Joaquin Goizeder came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ATIVE FC's Geovani Vargas. But to his dismay, Geovani Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 67 minutes into the game, Geovani Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joaquin Goizeder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When ATIVE FC's Geovani Vargas in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joaquin Goizeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovani Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Goizeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Geovani Vargas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Goizeder. Joaquin Goizeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 92 minutes into the game, Cornelio Inge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samborombón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATIVE FC the free kick. The supporters of ATIVE FC booed when Samborombón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovani Vargas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Goizeder. Joaquin Goizeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Augusto dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
