Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Guildford AFC's Zafran Seng started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Zafran Seng took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Costel Glăvan to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute, Sharizan Leng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bryan Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guildford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Pillai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costel Glăvan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. WHFC's Costel Glăvan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save WHFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Guildford AFC booed when WHFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Corbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Glăvan was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Wei Xuan Lim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wei Xuan Lim really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. WHFC's Costel Glăvan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save WHFC from getting a goal against them. Zafran Seng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guildford AFC's Bryan Pillai got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Costel Glăvan made a huge save. Teodoro Magalhães took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costel Glăvan. Costel Glăvan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Zafran Seng let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 41st minute shot 4-0 at rihgt post. Costel Glăvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafran Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Corbu to make the kick off. Costel Glăvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafran Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafran Seng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costel Glăvan having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Bryan Pillai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guildford AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zafran Seng in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costel Glăvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Guildford AFC's Teodoro Magalhães in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WHFC's goalie prevented a goal. Darren Cho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Gogu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes, Bryan Pillai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guildford AFC and the WHFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Sajeev Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costel Glăvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 86th match minute, WHFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Gogu to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Teodoro Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Glăvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Glăvan came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Guildford AFC's Zafran Seng. But to his dismay, Zafran Seng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in WHFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! Guildford AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
