In the 3rd minute, Raí Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATIVE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Geovani Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nantwich's Wasiu Olaoye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Castro in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raí Castro in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wasiu Olaoye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Raí Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasiu Olaoye. Nantwich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raí Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Vargas in the 21st minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Wasiu Olaoye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Geovani Vargas sped through Nantwich's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wasiu Olaoye. Wasiu Olaoye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Castro in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Raí Castro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wasiu Olaoye. After a defensive mix-up in ATIVE FC's zone, Olusegun Nalaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Negri came out of the goal and Olusegun Nalaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes Nantwich got a freekick which was hit by Micheal Shuru Nwadibia. In the 40th minute, Raí Castro made a precise shot to the right of Wasiu Olaoye. Nantwich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 43 minutes into the game, Raí Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Wasiu Olaoye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Nantwich players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATIVE FC were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raí Castro was the one to do the kick off. Nantwich's Wasiu Olaoye proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nantwich from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Castro came free, but Wasiu Olaoye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Gilbert Nnaemeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nantwich and the ATIVE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ATIVE FC booed when Nantwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Nnaemeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ATIVE FC's Raí Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wasiu Olaoye. That made the score 0-8 after 60 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nantwich's zone, Geovani Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasiu Olaoye came out of the goal and Geovani Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raí Castro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Wasiu Olaoye skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Raí Castro took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Wasiu Olaoye to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute, Madukaego Egbunu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-10 became the score in the 73rd minute when Raí Castro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raí Castro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Wasiu Olaoye when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Raí Castro put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Wasiu Olaoye. After 87 played minutes Nantwich got a freekick which was hit by Omamofe Ajatta. The Nantwich fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ATIVE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
