Joaquin Goizeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Morozan in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Samborombón AFC's Justino Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Piţurcă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 30th minute, Honorato Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Seminar CS's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Marino came free, but Daniel Piţurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Piţurcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Vidal in the 37th minute of play. Justino Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Piţurcă having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Vidal to make the kick off. Candido Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Seminar CS defense, Candido Marino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Piţurcă. The Seminar CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Piţurcă should have stopped the shot. Justino Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Justino Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samborombón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Piţurcă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Marino in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Vidal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Piţurcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Candido Marino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Daniel Piţurcă made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Samborombón AFC's Justino Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Piţurcă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Candido Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Piţurcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Vidal's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Felix Morozan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Seminar CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Morozan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Candido Marino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samborombón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Marino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Piţurcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samborombón AFC's Timoteo Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Candido Marino sped through Seminar CS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Piţurcă.
